Cooking's fun. My son excels in Asian cooking, better than take out! It was a blast last xmas, he wanted decanters for his sauces, and I got a whole bunch of cool ones - they're all displayed on his counters now. Not so much a babe magnet, well, he is, but he's got very high standards. Plus, he inherited my tendency towards hermitism, so it's tough to meet people you aren't almost instantly bored by. Oy! Also, a sardonic sense of humor that pretty much whizzes by most people, so they feel like we're making fun. Which, I suppose in some way, we really are. Gosh, we're bad people, aren't we? Luckily, he doesn't blurt out every silly thought, like I do. He's done much better socially in that respect!
The site's running again -- the problem turned out to be on my end. Can't tell you how psyched I am to come home from a long day of dealing with computer problems... to deal with my own computer problems at home.
Drawing a new comic everyday, dealing w/ the computer headaches, and working the whole Twitter thing -- it's become a bit much. It is time better spent than watching TV, but I'm still working on that book, so...

ReplyDeleteIt doesn't make you bad person to be clever with a wry sense of humor. If other people don't get it, that's their issue.
